I know it has been a long time since I posted something here. This year has been full of changes. My husband took a job in January down in Alabama and in June I joined him. We sold our house in Illinois and purchased one in Alabama. I was able to spend thanksgiving with my family and will get to spend Christmas with them as well. I started a new job in august and now here we are in December. Hopefully I will be able to post more often than every 5 or 6 months. Today we had lunch at Tgi Fridays with my best friend from high school and her sister. It was an early birthday present. We had a nice time. Last weekend we went to the Botanical Garden Galaxy of Lights . I always enjoy driving through there at Christmas time.

  I got home from work this afternoon and pulled into the driveway and right behind me was my neighbor the county sheriff.  The first thought in my head was Oh shit I am getting a ticket.  Actually he was offering to mow my lawn for me.  What a wonderful neighbor. He and his wife are friendly and  very nice.  I will miss them when I leave.  I told my husband that I was not sure what to think when I saw the sheriff pull in the driveway behind me.
